Liberal arts majors develop excellent skills for the workplace, but struggle to translate those skills to employers when job searching.
To develop a badging program to incentive beneficial co-curricular experiences and to provide a vocabulary for students to talk about their experiences.
On this project, I conducted interviews with stakeholders in academic advising, career services, and students to identify goals. I wrote the descriptions, learning outcomes, and evidence requirements for the badges. I oversaw development of visual style guide.
The badging pilot provided an exemplar that instigated conversations among University leadership about micro-credentialing.
