This blog is home to my reflections on learning, design, and technology, and the intersections of the three. I am currently the assistant director of strategic initiatives in the eLearning Institute in the College of Arts & Architecture at Penn State. In this role, I identify and evaluate new online programs and opportunities, collaborate with faculty on digital scholarship projects and initiatives, and design and develop online courses for new programs.
Prior to joining the eLearning Institute team, I was the director of digital pedagogy and scholarship in the College of the Liberal Arts, leading strategic projects in emerging educational technologies and managing digital scholarship projects and collaborations. I’ve also been an instructional designer at Education Technology Services and the College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State. I earned a BA in English from Stonehill College and an MA in education in instructional technologies from San Francisco State University.
